October 6-7, 2000 Our 10 Year Reunion!!
What a great weekend!
After 10 years, I not only speak for myself, but everyone in attendance at either the SHS Homecoming game and/or the Reunion - October 6-7 was a weekend to remember!

I would like to express a few thoughts to everyone in attendance and even more importantly, to those not in attendance the weekend of our reunion. After all numbers came in, we had just at 130 people attend (including guests). Several people were not able to return due to conflicting events, several others were not found and then there were several others that felt the cost was just too much. Please understand these were not areas the Reunion Committee overlooked.
As our Class President, J.P. Marcella did a great job of getting a diverse committee together and trying to organize and plan our reunion. Several people went above and beyond what could be expected, but the committee came to a joint conclusion that we could not adequately reach everyone with our limited resources. In order to find as many people as possible and make the reunion something to remember, we searched and found several reunion companies and event planners. The companies then bid for our reunion and we went with the company offering the best value. By using the company, the price for everyone in attendance was the same, regardless of the whether we had 1 person register or 500. The intention was never to exclude anyone and if the price kept any of you from coming, we do apologize. The Reunion company was a big help in a lot of areas and as a class, we learned a lot. We hope to make each reunion from now on even more enjoyable for everyone.
